Competition Squad

Dancers are invited to join the competition squad once they have reached the required standard of technique, dedication and ability. Any dancers who are selected to be a part of the competition squad must attend a minimum of two classes per week.  Dancers will compete regularly throughout the year within the North West in various dance styles and as troupes or, solo’s, duets and trios. We also organise one big event per year such as a full weekend competition in Wales, a training and performance weekend in the west end to name a few. We hope to build on this with our Competition Squad in the coming years.

Competition squad members must be able to commit to regular private lessons with teachers to focus on their individual routines. Weekly squad lessons focus on flexibility, technique and body conditioning as well as team choreography.

Uniform

Competition Squad have their own uniform which is to be worn to events and kept in immaculate condition as they are representing the Dance school.

Behaviour

All dancers are expected to behave in a manner which supports not only each other but also other dance schools. Inappropriate behaviour by students or parents will not be tolerated.

Cost

£32 per month for weekly Squad classes due on the first of each month. Private lessons are dependant on length of class and range from £7.50.
